DSWA is pleased to welcome two new engineers to our staff.
 
Jonathan Howard, PE
Austin, Texas


Mr. Howard’s 24 years of project focus include a wide range of water and wastewater planning, design, and construction projects. His projects as a Project Manager/Project Engineer have focused on water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, water transmissions and wastewater collection projects. He has published and presented numerous papers on water and wastewater treatment, and he is well established in the Austin, Texas water and wastewater community. His experience and skill set also includes office and large project team leadership and a history of facilitating inter-agency discussions regarding joint projects.
 
Sheba Hafiz, PE
San Jose, California
Ms. Hafiz has 11 years of experience in the planning, design and construction management of water, wastewater and recycled water projects, ranging in size from 0.20 million gallons per day (mgd) to 150 mgd.   She had led and managed engineering studies, master plans and the detailed design of water reclamation facilities, biosolids treatment and dewatering facilities, recharge facilities, pumping stations, recycled water storage facilities and pipelines.  Ms. Hafiz has completed projects for both public and private utilities including those constructed under alternate delivery methods of Design-Build and Construction Management at Risk.
