For the second year in a row, DSWA has been named to the Zweig Letter Hot Firm list! DSWA is ranked #57 on this list which includes the 100 fastest growing architecture, engineering, planning and environmental consulting firms in the country. Rankings are determined by equally weighting dollar growth and percentage growth and then combining the two values. DSWA had a 109% revenue growth from 2001-2004. Letter Hot Firm 2004 List!
DSWA has been ranked #53 on the Zweig Letter Hot Firm 2004 List
of the 100 fastest growing A/E/P and environmental consulting firms
in the country. We were bestowed this honor due to our dynamic growth
over the last three years. Our company revenues grew 136% between
2000 and 2003. With a staff size nearing 60, we continue to look
for bright, talented professionals to join our team!
Below is a description of how they determine the top 100 companies...
How did
the 100 firms profiled in this issue get named to The Zweig
Letter Hot Firm 2004 List? Not only did they survive economic
instabilities over the past few years, but they grew in the
process— some doubling, or even tripling, their gross
revenue from 2000 to 2003.
This year is the fifth in a row that The
Zweig Letter has ranked the fastest-growing architecture, engineering,
and environmental consulting firms. As with previous years,
we began the procedure for the list in early March with a nationwide
call for industry firms to complete a short entry form with
questions about their firm type, size, and 2000 and 2003 gross
revenues. Firm leaders from all types and sizes of companies
shared this information with us. We received submissions from
firms exhibiting growth over the past three years, then verified
their revenue figures using financial statements or income tax
returns reviewed by third parties. |
We
created The Zweig Letter Hot Firm 2004 List to identify the
fastest-growing A/E/P and environmental firms in the United
States from 2000 to 2003. As with past years, this year proved
to be another extremely competitive one, with hundreds of
firms competing for the top 100 spots.
Since we first created the Hot Firm
List in 2000, we’ve taken special effort to make sure
we recognize both small firms and large firms for their success.
A $5 million firm may have an easier time doubling in size
than a $5 billion firm, while at the same time growing by
an additional $1 billion is a more feasible goal for the large
firm than the small firm. To alleviate this problem, we weighted
firms’ dollar growth and percentage growth equally to
give both small firms and large firms an opportunity to make
the list. Each firm was assigned a dollar ranking and a percentage
ranking, then we combined the two numbers for a total score.

on The Zweig Letter Hot Firm 2004 List.
